You can access your Compass emails via our Webmail service on any device, however if you'd like to manage your emails through an app like Microsoft Outlook - you're in the right place!
Firstly, send us a message and ask for your email username and password (if you don't already have it) and follow our quick step by step guide below.
Step by step guide for Microsoft Outlook
1. Open the Microsoft Outlook app on your android phone or tablet.
2. Click on the "Home" icon in the top left to access more options.
3. Look for the mail icon with the "+" sign and click on it.
4. Three options will pop-up at the bottom of your screen, click on "Add an account".
5. Enter your email address and click "Continue" in the bottom, right hand corner.
6. Click on "SETUP ACCOUNT MANUALLY" underneath your email address when it shows up.
7. You can choose if you want to configure your emails with either IMAP or POP3. If you are not sure, choose IMAP.
8. Enter the following information on the new page:
Display Name - (Insert your name)
Description - Compass Email

IMAP Host Name - imap4.compassnet.co.nz
IMAP Username - (Contact us)
IMAP Password - (Contact us)
--
SMTP Host Name - smtp.compassnet.co.nz
IMAP Username - (Contact us)
IMAP Password - (Contact us)
8. Click on the tick in the top, right hand corner and you're done!
POP3
If you'd like to configure your emails with POP3 instead, at Step 7 click on POP3 and put pop3.compassnet.co.nz as the POP3 Host Name rather than imap4.compassnet.co.nz.
